Bolton are in serious financial trouble
Speaking on Tuesdays Sports Breakfast, Big Sam said: Some people who have been looking to buy the club have contacted me and asked me about my position, in terms of if I would take a role back at the Wanderers. But none of the people I spoke with have showed enough ambition financially to take the club into a good, stable position and build it to go forward to try and get back into the Premier League.Im talking about maybe a three to four or even a five-year plan going forward, but all Ive seen are people wanting to buy the club and then decide what they want to do with it. I havent given any indication if I want to go back to Wanderers, because no one has come up with a plan for the future of the football club and the players on the field, rather than the actual business side.It really needs somebody out there with enough financial clout to invest in the club and be able to look after the football side.It needs somebody to enjoy owing a football club and building it to be successful again, because it has everything it needs in the town to be successful.
