He was hooked off in Uniteds goalless draw to Crystal Palace last weekend and dropped for their Champions League clash with Young Boys on Tuesday.And former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Petit thinks Pogba, who has been linked with a return to Juventus, should fight for his place at Old Trafford.He said: I dont know about the future of Paul Pogba. I still believe when you come back to a club you left, this is because you have a good reason to come back.3

I think the story between Manchester United and Pogba is not finished. If he leaves at the end of the season just because of his relationship with his manager, for me, thats not a good reason.Manchester United is bigger than the problem they have together.Mourinho has been criticised for failing to get the best out of Pogba since his 90million move from Juventus in 2016.The midfielder starred for France in their World Cup-winning campaign last summer, but has not replicated his international form with his club.3

Petit, a World Cup winner with France, added: Well, even if Jose Mourinho has been living with criticism and big pressure recently, I still believe hes one of the best managers in the world.He has won so many trophies – he repeats that in the press conferences. They won the Europa League last year – they won a trophy where all the managers didnt win anything. So, what were asking of managers is to win games and titles and this is what Mourinho does. But we all know its becoming difficult after three years in the same club.His methods in management are sometimes a little bit hard for the players to cope with. Hes got his own responsibility for his relationships with some players.But I still believe, at the end of the day, the players have to take their own responsibility on the pitch as well. The responsibilities, for me, are shared.
