I would prefer him to stay but at the same time I want to feel he wants to stay, too. If he doesnt want to stay he has to leave. But we would like to continue. Next season he has a contact and a longer time together.Gundogan was Guardiola’s first signing, when he brought him from Dortmund for 20million in June 2016.A knee injury kept him out for nine months of his first season in England and he made just 10 appearances in the league.The 28-year-old played in more of a deeper role this season, in Fernandinho’s absence and helped City edge out Liverpool as he claimed his second league title with the club.
