With a host of lucrative sponsorship deals including 10-year $100m contracts with both Nike and TaylorMade, and associations with Omega watches and NBC sports, it is no surprise to see the 30-year-old’s net increase of 28m in his wealth.Despite enduring a tough year in Spain, Gareth Bale is second on the list after seeing his net worth increase by 20m. Despite looking certain to move on, the Wales international’s contract with Real Madrid is worth 18.2m a year after tax.Next up, Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero takes his place on the list after seeing his wealth increase by 10m as his goals have helped fire the Citizens to within touching distance of the Premier League title.
